Stuck Inside

Here’s the first piece that I made during quarantine. It refers to the confinement in our homes that virtually everyone is experiencing right now. Because of these circumstances, it feels like time passes differently. Sometimes it feels like time drags on while we wait for everything to return to how it was. Other times, it feels like time is quickly slipping away along with everything we wish we could be doing. Hanging out with friends, traveling, and much more — these feel like missed opportunities and time flying by. The bright colors are a contrast to the bleak prospects that the U.S. and the rest of the world faces as the pandemic continues.
