Stillwater

By Akkshansh Bagga, 16

Let the water inside you flow.

Water that is still breeds insects that are not.

Flow. Let it flow through your mind and let it cool its inferno.

Flow. Let it flow through your eyes when the world outside feels frozen.

Flow. Let it flow through your skin as you swim through the burning rage of the world.

Flow. Let it flow through the monster that hides inside you, drowning it as its chokes echo through your water like insignificant ripples in the sea.

But never. Never let it flow through your heart. Let it kindle kindness and burn with passion. Let it be warm.
Let it offer you refuge in the worst of floods.

I basically got the idea to write this when I was in my car and it was raining outside. I just wrote it down right then in a few minutes.
